May be you should consider Las Vegas which has more recreation /opportunities for fun unless you are a beach/boating person.

Datek's option fee is expensive. I use others for option trading.

With Apex status I get level 2, DJ news & Advanced Analyzer (downloaded but have not tried out yet) for free. It is a good thing:) I am spoiled by Real Ticks's multi-tab chart. Wish Datek has the ability to have 5 different charts opened up for the same stock, etc. Am trying out ESignal now...

Where do you get the"one screen with Streamer's trade trend charts (extended)going for 6 Dow and 3 Naz stocks" in the Datek site? I can not find them? I do not know there is possibility to have multiple chart open in their site.

You are right. I am also look into option & futures. Man Financial is better in futures I think.

The software is the same. Other charge may vary. Route are not the same, depends on the broker. Some like Terra & Mastertrader provide free educational service.

I think each broker charge different ECN fees.

If someone want to trade stocks, options, commodities, global stocks & currencies, what will be the best combination with order execution, charting, scan, alerts & news. Backtesting is not required. Thanks!

I thought TS is $99.5 + $19 data for stock & future. Is it correct? I am thinking about switching from Real Tick.

It does not take many trades per quarter to earn the Apex status. Datek is good for penny stocks. Now I am also looking for a direct access broker in addtion to Datek for day trade. it will be nice to be able to trade futures and currencies also.

Datek/Ameritrade used with QuoteTracker is wonderful. Since I have Apex status, I have NJ news for free. The news can be read thru QT. I am happy with it.
