I'm looking for historical data for ES, NQ, YM. I only need from about 2000-present. I know I can get Qcharts for $80.00 a month, is there anything out there similare, but a little cheaper?

i was just curious as to what the best optimum screen resolution is for trading, i just change my screens to 1024 x768 from 800 x 600, going with this higher res. obviously allows me to put more things on my monitors, but will the smaller size have any affect of my eyes? is this bad?

I was told by a rep at IB that I need java 1.4.2 to be able to login use ssl, but when i go to the java page and don't know which one it is, can someone give me a link to this? do i have to set anything up when I downloan version 1.4.2?

Do traders usually have multiple strategies that they use during the trading day? or is it not a good idea to have more than one or two strategies because someone might get mixed signals or it could make trading more confusing looking for so many setups?

that's a pretty broad range, almost 100 pts. Could you be a little more specific? And you think the ES will go up another 40-50 pts before there's even a chance of a selloff, even though the dow has been on an uptrend for almost 3 weeks?

what is exactly you new method? i just started reading some of your threads and obviously you have a lot of people against you, i don't think you calls are that bad, no worse than most people on here. how does your method show that tomorrow's open will be down.

how can futures be swing traded? if they have a margin maitence? for example the YM has a margin of 1250 and maintence of 1000, a difference of 250.00 or 50 ticks, the ym can move more than 50 ticks in a day, so if you entered a tade and the very next day the YM went against you 50 ticks you...

can someone explain to me how the dollar effects the markets? this is something i've never understood and can't seem to find a good post on it here. is a stong dollar good and a weak dollar bad? when the markets go up does the dollar go down? why do some companies want a weak dollar?
