Well I guess there’s a belief that demo accounts are just for the beginners. Experienced traders like me too use demo accounts to test trade strategy before implementing it in the live environment. So in case there are any bugs in my strategy, I work on it to trade better.

Indices are very liquid to trade and their market is highly liquid too. There is a high possibility of exposing yourself to potential opportunities and markets. It is good that you want to trade indices, good luck to you.

You’re right. It is always better to stick to one good strategy that gets results. Ever since I started trading, I have tried a lot of strategies and then selected a particular one that worked for most of my trades.

I’m finding XAUUSD too as a good prospect. Entering when prices are going up and selling at a previous high (or the other way round) is much predictable here. Using 20x leverage on fxview and xtb for trading this one. I have recently started diversifying my portfolio, with BTC even.

I think one of the biggest differentiators is trading psychology. Demo trading is easier because we know there’s no real danger to any “real” money.

Best time to trade would depend on a lot of factors, the trading style adopted is one. As a day trader, for me anything before 8 in the evening works. After that till upto 7 in the morning there’s not much pips movement.
