Really unhappy with Ensign and DTN/IQ data feed

The different results posted here from the same feeds are interesting. At the moment I have eSignal, IQ Feed, and IB. I have run all three together and found IQ Feed to lag IB and eSignal. IB and eSignal are very close. The IQ Feed has been solid although their new client crashed on me...

    dual wan router, hotbrick

Maybe I don't understand, you can change the IP address of the hotbrick or the linksys. I run both on my network, the hotbrick connected to both data feeds up-linked to the linksys router/wireless access point. Is that what you are trying to do? Regards, TG

    dual wan router, hotbrick

If anyone is using eSignal you may have problems with load balancing with these routers, eSignal does not like the session switching from one source to another. Solution is to use failover not load balancing with eSignal. Regards, TG

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Equities Trading Journal III

Hello, More of a lurker here than a poster. I have a question, anyone else come up with HWCC as a hotlist stock today? My initial stocktables.com scan was 80/80, culled via "cull stocktables" spreadsheet, and ran against Hershey Rank Scan V1.0 Thanks, TG

    dual wan router, hotbrick

I have had a Hotbrick LB2 for a number of months, works well and does fail-over as expected. The dual Ethernet connection approach works well if you run a single machine. Regards, TG

Backtesting State of the art - tradestation or..?

If you are looking to test and trade strategies across portfolios you can do better than TS. Yes, it can be hacked together as described in the post above but that is lame compared to something that is built to handle portfolio strategies. I have been using NeoTicker, it works well for me...

    Iqfeed with Neoticker Feedback

ESignal has more intraday data for backtesting. 120 trading days for ESignal, 120 calendar days for IQ. I have been told that by reps at each that they are planning to extend the amount of available intraday historical data.

Which broker's trading platform can support automated order with Wealth-Lab?

Fidelity is the only broker for new users in the United States. No FX, no futures. If you have a copy of Wealth-Lab Developer that was purchased prior to the Fidelity deal you can use the IB interface.

    IB Basket Orders

Submitted some limit orders to ARCA prior to the open. They did not show up on the book. So, it appears that the "Trading Hours" option does impact basket orders.
