I'm not sure, but I think one of more of his stategies requires that he holds a monstrous amount of shares overnight. Which means when he gets to the office, sometimes there will be a gigantic loss waiting for him to deal with. I don't know how he could use a max daily loss under those...

You say gaps are a large part of your trading? ...and you're basically a RTM trader? So, is it safe to say that you expect the gaps you play to close (at least partially)? It's been my experience that 'gap ups' keep going up and 'gap downs' keep going down.

By the looks of the chart, the trade was to short at the upper channel line. Now it looks like a good long entry (to me), which is why you should short the hell out of it. LOL :D
