so how does someone good get found?.. I'm young, good education, very profitable .. at the moment trading own money and advising but looking to expand network. ..perhaps join a firm or fund. or better to join a prop firm? trading on my own is boring and there's always lot's to learn from...

nice post.. so what kind of people do they look for when hiring? any special sills, education? the jobs seem slim to none for those... and mostly for the connected, like every other job.

average trader's payout

trader monthly had some big #'s, but what do the avg make or whats the range?

Whats the avg salary with yr experience trading for one of the big banks?

Which do you prefer, to trade on your own or to for a firm? What is the salary that would make u work for yourself vs the firm? 100k?. 500k? I never traded for a firm but wondering how people feel about what the ideal trading position is for an average profitable trader. thanks!
