    also...when I trade the ETF's I usually only trade the ones where the average true range (ATR) is +1% of current price. So I will usually substitute INTC and/or MSFT for XLK when I'm in that sector. just my 2 cents.

    So the entire world believes that if XLF breaks 23 it is going much lower. If so how would you play it ? ATM puts on the break ? Wait for shorts to be shaken ? Wait for counter trend rally ? Bear call spread above ? Just asking....

    But one of the characteristics of a successfully functioning currency over time is its general acceptably and prevalence of use. That is why goat, salt and bb cards are not modern day currency.

    peer to peer instruments are along the lines of airline miles. The airline is my counterparts risk. If you are saying Bitcoin is a peer to peer instrument, who is the counterparty ?
