Distracted by fatherhood. Which is a good thing, but I gotta get back on track. Projections for college tuition in 16yrs is frightening. After 10:30 I said, "f it. It's so nice out I'm gonna take junior to the park" come back and see that the position I closed for $80..went to +$500...

Yesterday I took a whip from YHOO and my day finished with only +$45 Today was a quick 3 shooter. Gonna enjoy a day of nice weather. Happy with today and almost ready to get back to full risk.

This was more bad timing than being shook. I usually make sure I use the bathroom before trading begins but today the coffee really played a number on me. I had my speakers tuned up and from the bathroom I heard a few orders go off. LOL...uh, gotta get back. So I ran back to the office...

I'm not sure where you get your info on Echotrade. I've been with them for many years and have never been ''forced to trade " anything. And the desk fee is zero. I do have a data fee that gets fully rebated.

Back to half risk . Considering I didn't get many signals this result isn't bad. I did make a big mistake though. I'll post that on my "shake my weak hand " thread.

I was short. It never hit my original stop..I moved it down to breakeven because I had planned on only working until lunchtime. It just sucked to have that jump 30 cents in 10 seconds and then immediately back down 2 seconds later.

I mentioned on the P/L thread about getting shaken out of one of my shorts today. Just a dumb move on my part. And at the end of the day I checked the chart and nearly punched myself. Thought you'd get a kick out of it. Got shook from my AIG long too. One downside to home office is too...

FITB got me too. You'd think I'd be up nicely since I was short 1000 FITB at 10.71 it closed at 9.22 but as you can see from the time..it was early, i got stopped out. got frustrated when i finally checked the closing price. i haven't had a down month in over a year..this may beone of them...

got monkey'd around with those bannana stocks..ended up chopped and gave away some lunch money still at half risk.

I actually consider this ok because I stuck with the plan. Used less than half normal risk. Missed one good trade but sh*t happens. A few more days of sticking with the plan until I can step back up to normal risk parameters Then 2 weeks of good trading on that and I'll step it up again. Good...
