I was talking to someone in construction today and he told me our markets are being swamped with Germans willing to work at half the price of minimum wage here and falsely be registered as cleaning staff.
So I guess this makes Germans the new Mexicans.
So it wouldnt change anything, despite bringing more stability to the well to do places... right?
This is why I always thought the Euro system to be superior as it is over a shared bondmarket.

People keep talking how to fit in Greece in Germany in the same monetary union but there are huge disbalances in countries and regions themselves.
Italy has parts richer then Germany and worse of then Greece.
