    Longest intraday charts

Hello. I was wondering where someone can find really long intraday charts. The longest I was able to find was on IB, where I manually change the setting so I could get 90 days. Anyone know of a provider or site that provides longer intraday data? Any feedback is most appreciated. Dave

Krugman makes a fool of himself..... AGAIN.

I've stopped listening to what Krugman says long ago. I don't take what he says seriously. The man is inflammatory and toxic.

    iPhone 4s vs. new Android?

Apple basically creates the smartphone and tablet markets, and it looks like it's gonna lose it in a few years.

    iPhone 4s vs. new Android?

I have a feeling we're seeing a replay of Betamax vs VHS all over again with Android being VHS. However, this time VHS is better.

Who believes there isn't a Gold bubble right now?

I have a feeling gold is gonna take a breather at 2000, then resume its relentless rise. It's becoming the defacto world currency.

When in doubt and nothing else works keep rates as low as possible, right BUBBLE ben!

Be prepared for the final leg of this bubble, then get out. I'm gonna be in equities for the next year and a half, then dramatically scale down.

    Gold is finished

This is hilarious. Gold is gonna hit 2000 EASY. I'm shocked people don't see this. It's becoming the world's de facto currency. Not only that, but gold is a play on China and India, which are two biggest consumers of gold.

    WMT vs unions

I think it's obvious the store was closed because they were going to unionize, but so what? I'm amazed that WM was even allowed to be taken to court. I personally believe that had WM lost, it probably would have exited Quebec altogether, which is why they gave the decision to WM. Good for WM.

Los Angeles, the homeless capital of the nation

It's disturbing how the poor are treated like garbage. I'm definitely not a socialist, but we need to help the people at the very bottom. I don't mean more welfare payments (which are usually squandered), I mean some kind of support that can help those who really want to better their lives.

    Confessions of a successful trader

Stlouis, I fully believe there are super traders on here (you maybe one of them, I don't know yet). Of course it's a huge ego boost to them to come down here with us trading mortals who've slogged at this for years with no huge success. I'm not one of those angry people who hate people who...

    Confessions of a successful trader

"Confession#2 is I believe very few people on this site actually make money." Absolutely true. And no, I don't make money consistently. Hey, give me points for honesty.

How China Cooks Its Books & The Growing Risk of a Chinese Economic Implosion

I just wanted to add to the China story. Warren Buffett is big on China. Here's the Wikipedia entry: "Investment in China Buffett invested in PetroChina Company Limited and in a rare move, posted a commentary[102] on Berkshire Hathaway's website stating why he would not divest from...

How China Cooks Its Books & The Growing Risk of a Chinese Economic Implosion

It seems that some people are desperately hoping for China to fail, while some desperately hope for it to succeed. Myself, I really don't care. I just want to know reality. I want to ride whatever bull market or trend is out there. I will put my money where my mouth is and begin to put more...

Is there a hidden bubble growing?

So true. But back to the main topic, yes, I agree this is a bubble. Let's just ride this thing all the way up, and get off when the party gets too good. Low interest rates is what got us into this mess in the first place.

Stock Screener Recs - MSN "retiring" Stock Screener

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will be sad to see the MSN screener go. It is by far the best one. But there seem to be some good replacements. Screening is also a fundamental part of my trading.

    IB Canada and PDT

You're right. I forgot to mention that. I can trade Canadian stocks as many times as I want, just not US stocks.

    IB Canada and PDT

It is enforced. I'm in Canada too. I don't know how your friend is able to make the trades. When I make the 3 trades within 4 or whatever days, my account is unable to make anymore. What puzzles me is that rule is enforced even if they are 3 different stocks.

Taxwise, the Best Canadian Province for trading

Yes, but Alberta has the lowest tax rates in the country. "Alberta's personal tax advantage results from a low single rate tax system, including the highest basic and spousal exemptions in the country, no general sales tax, the lowest gasoline tax rate among the provinces, and low property...
