How can i get this type of leverage ?

MrAgi1, it seems like you need to grow your account by saving more money or perhaps take a second job. The markets aren't going anywhere. Go save more money and return when you are properly capitalized.

President Trump's Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship

As I thought about Trump's executive order (actually his executive tantrum) to prevent tagging of his inane tweets, I realized this orange clown, along with his supporters, are hypocrites (not a new revelation). On the one hand, they (Trump along with the $2 phony patriots, I Stand for The...

How can i get this type of leverage ?

    1. Thinkorswim is primarily an options platform, and is very good for that. However, it is a shitty platform when it comes to futures and Forex. 2. You aren't going to find the type of leverage you seek with US-based brokerages. You can easily find that type of leverage outside the United...

Coronavirus: 99% chance that COVID-19 vaccine will work, says Chinese firm

Who in their right mind would take a vaccine that was made in China? China is known for cutting corners when it comes to medicines and edibles. No thanks, I'll pass.

President Trump's Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship

All of that just to say, "I am using the bully pulpit (i.e., an executive order) to spread misinformation." Have you seen enough of this clown show?

The Scientific Models that Drive US Public Policy on COVID are Wildly Wrong

I should have checked the data before agreeing with you about Sweden. According to the data, Sweden is not winning against COVID. https://www.endcoronavirus.org/countries

The Scientific Models that Drive US Public Policy on COVID are Wildly Wrong

Not sure why the response to COVID-19 was such a clusterfuck. It's not like there weren't other recent responses from which to follow: 1. The SAR outbreak in 2003. 2. The Ebola outbreak in 2010.

The Scientific Models that Drive US Public Policy on COVID are Wildly Wrong

That's great to hear that front line workers are getting sorely needed PPE.

The Scientific Models that Drive US Public Policy on COVID are Wildly Wrong

Herd immunity via exposure or swift lockdown isn't the issue. Sweden got it right with the former, and Taiwan got it right with the latter. The issue is quickly picking a route and taking affirmative action, and not bickering and arguing about what to do.

The Scientific Models that Drive US Public Policy on COVID are Wildly Wrong

Well, of course mathematical models are inaccurate (or not static), initially. That's why they continue to change with the introduction of new information in an effort to increase their accuracy. If they were right, then they would never change with the introduction of new information...

Pandemic has killed globalisation, says Carmen Reinhart

I am all for China acting in its own interest, but unfortunately your comment is just dumb. It's dumb for the following reasons. 1. Hiding the fact that there was an outbreak. When outbreaks occur, a RESPONSIBLE country reports that shit. 2. Running over protesters with tanks is not cool...

Should we use the 200 day EMA or SMA?

Some traders use the 200 SMA as a mean reversion tool (i.e., prices won't deviate too far from it, before returning to it). I personally don't use moving averages.

Pandemic has killed globalisation, says Carmen Reinhart

Yes, with regard to global sentiment, China is fucked, and deservedly. Several countries have raised the question of whether they should remove China from their supply chain? China is just a bad actor in the world, both at home and abroad. Sometimes, I ask myself, for a country that has...

Pandemic has killed globalisation, says Carmen Reinhart

Many examples, huh? Okay. To answer you question, it depends. Two dollars seems like a decent compromise, on paper. However, I suspect that the large majority of Americans have become too accustomed to Walmart prices, and would object to paying Macy's-like prices. Who knows? I could be...
