It's good to hear from you. This morning I exited my short because it looked like it was going to come back and take out the highs. Now it looks like it's just going to drift sideways for awhile. Being honest with myself, I really don't see too much potential on the long side this afternoon...

I had fun with Trade 2. However, I'm feeling overly biased to the long side even though that viewpoint is not warranted at this time. Therefore I'm going to take another break. I would like to resume trading at 1:00 and be done for the day at 2:00.

I just sold off the remainder at 1506.5 and 1507, which put the average exit for Trade 2 at 1506.

I decided not to enter additional contracts at 1503, mainly because I thought there was a slight possibility that it might go even lower.

I closed out a little over half of my position at 1505.5. I will try to exit the other half around 1506.5, and I may also add contracts at 1503 or lower.

SLD 1499 CLOSE I closed out this position in the after hours session. While I still think the trade has potential, I decided it wasn't worth it. One of the main reasons is that when I hold a trade overnight I find that I become preoccupied with it. As a result my quality of life decreases...

It's 2:30, but I feel pretty confident about this trade. Somewhere along the line I would like to put a hard stop at 1496.5 and then just hold into the close. Hopefully it will work out that way.
