Becareful with HANS...i use to trade this a lot a few months ago, it always seems to have a huge bid x ask spreads and low volume making it very non liquid and hard to get out at a good price if the position goes against you....and the IBD 100 really moves this stock, it always seems to show up...

If you want to trade GOOG i'd suggest trading it via options - just buying calls, puts, or setting up some type of a straddle. I got killed trying to play the short side of TZOO when everyone was trying to pick its top...either way, good luck!

yea i was talking about a longer time frame compared to gapstar.....i've been told by a few people that the NASDAQ comp pretty much always fills gaps though...has anyone else heard this theory before?

I've also used this strategy numerous times and it works pretty well (i think my approach is slightly different from gapster though)...you have to use NAS stocks because they tend to always come back to fill the gaps....i think i remember reading somewhere it's because of all the market makers...
