  1. Q

    Something very simplistic

The "NOT TAKEN" trades were simply because I wasn't going to be or planning to be around when those times hit - it would be easy to check and see how they would have turned out. I think someone has already posted the exact parms I've been using, and the way I've been using them, so again, it...
  2. Q

    Something very simplistic

As long as it is what is stated, what's the problem? Pretty hard to BS your way through these trades. Either they work or they don't.

    Something very simplistic

I knew you'd be sitting on the edge of your seat waiting. I'll try to get it done asap - just for you, no extra charge.
  4. Q

    Something very simplistic

Actually, I'm not trading at all today. Had some other things to take care of, plus I usually like to stay away from triple-witch, for whatever reason. I'm still going to go back through the day later and list what the trades would have been.

What took you so long? :D
  6. Q

    Something very simplistic

I believe he is following the times I put in my first post - this last NQ trade woulda been a short @ 874.50, ended up getting stopped out and reversed at 878 (-3.50), and then sold at 881.50 (+3.50).
  7. Q

    are you kidding me?

When someone comments on his picture "you get my 10", what "10" are they talking about exactly? Is that a measurement of some sort? :D And if someone gives you their 10, do you have to take it? Should you smile while taking it?
  8. Q

    Something very simplistic

I believe the reverse he was talking about was as a result of a new trade indicating the opposite direction - therefore, that would have been on the open of a bar. If you are reversing because you hit the stoploss, then it is immediate - i.e. the stoploss trades 2 contracts instead of 1 (or...
  9. Q

    Something very simplistic

Yes, that is correct. There have been a number of times where (using your example) 981 traded a number of times and I still didn't get a fill - and it backed away, yet returned a few minutes later (sometimes longer) and at that point filled, before the stop hit.
  10. Q

    Something very simplistic

Okay, now that I understand. If you can't take on more than one position because of margin, you won't be able to take all the trades if they overlap. Thanks for the clarification. However, I do say that my results are based on taking each trade individually, so that would mean in order to...
  11. Q

    Something very simplistic

Let's start over here - It seems we both agree that the 11 points is a proper number - you disagree that I should say that is per contract. 11 NQ points = $220. I assume we both agree with that. Now, lets say instead of trading one contract each trade, I traded 5. Instead of having...
  12. Q

    Something very simplistic

No, that would not be by my reasoning at all. If you opened a single position of 10 contracts at the open and sold those 10 contracts at 9:35 for a 100 point gain, that would be a 10 point per contract trade.
  13. Q

    Something very simplistic

That is correct - but it is per contract. I.E. - If I was trading 5 contracts, that statement would still be true - but I would actually have $1100 gross profits. Size is not important in this system, so I don't see any reason to post anything other than results based on 1 lot trades.
  14. Q

    Something very simplistic

    Are you thinking I'm saying 11 points/contract/trade?
  15. Q

    Something very simplistic

One last time - using your own example. If you entered a trade at each one of those entry points, at the end you'd be holding a long position of 7 contracts total, all entered at 900. If you exited all of them at 910, each trade would have had a 10 point profit. If you were trading 1...
  16. Q

    Something very simplistic

Whatever, I'm not going to argue with you - the overlap is totally irrelevent. They are individual trades, entered individually, and not dependent on the other trades. They each made their own individual 3 points. Makes no difference if they overlapped or not. 2 contracts were involved in...
  17. Q

    Something very simplistic

Ooops. Not quite awake yet. I meant to say those first 3 trades were individual winning trades for 3 points each. Forgot we were talking about NQ and not ES.
  18. Q

    Something very simplistic

I don't understand your question. Each trade is separate and an individual contract on it's own. Those three trades produced a one point winner each. What do you mean by "the same 3 pts of movement"? (editted to say: I mean "those three trades produced a three point winner each" - not a...

    Aphexcoil defends himself

Okay aphie - enough already. The more you comment on this, the worse you look. Yeah, I know, you don't care how you look. Or about how I think you look, or my opinion on how you look.
  20. Q

    Aphex :(

    Sorry, I can only vote at either 9:33, 9:35, 9:38, 9:43, 9:51,..... :D
