If you look at a 4hr chart the trend has changed. There is a lower high (not by much). Kind of looks like a 123 reversal, don't you think? 10/29 would be a good time to start looking for shorts in my opinon. I was last night, but that trade was breakeven. In my analysis, I don't see any...

Same here, gonna take some time for me as well. I'm not too pleased with my performance lately... or shall I say system? I altered some things a little bit to be a bit more aggressive. I just have to trade it now and wait and see. It's interesting reading your posts. I have this...

I think that's why it's important to trade a system that fits one's personality. I really dont know much about scalping, and I'm more of a swing/position type trader. I like it... but I think this would be tough for anyone with discipline problems, because a lot of my trades may go 20-40 pips...

Gringinho, I didn't start martial arts as a kid, so it's a bit harder for me to pick things up... due to flexibility issues. My dad went to the best Hapkido acadamy in Seoul, and was the best in the school at the time. He shared some crazy stories, haha. My dad suggested that I take Judo...

Gringinho, I noticed from prior posts about you talking about TKD. You'd probably kick my ass, haha. I started training Hapkido several months ago, but due to a couple of injuries it's been a bit rather frustrating lately. I injured my neck, and well... I was stronger than I was 10 yrs...

Gringinho, would you happen to know the tax laws for a trader in S. Korea? My CPA's brother is a daytrader in Korea, but never asked about it.

Giving up is hard to do......

Trend is your friend :D I go for larger trends myself... thought of scalping gives me the chills. Maybe I just don't know how it's done :) Are you saying things did not work because you did not follow your rules? In my opinion a larger time frame can only make losses bigger. I...

    who trades with volatility breakouts?

I look at different time frame as a filter, and wait for close above/below my entry signal. I have found using different time frame has reduced my losses, but reduced profits as well. I have to be more patient, and overall it comes out ahead in the long run. As far as closes above/below...

Does anybody really trade on size any more?

not familiar with your market so don't know about your first question. As far as making consistent profits... design a system that makes consistent profits to your temperament and objectives. Then just follow the signals without hesitation or doubt :-)
