Who is your favorite permabull to ridicule?

Vkoenig, As fund manager, of course this Thieme is saying to the public : "buy, buy, buy" , ... and guest who is selling?? They are not as dumb as we think they are. The dumbest ones, unfortunatly, are the retails who listen to and follow all those anal-lyst/fund managers'...

Determining stop loss on how many points may not be the best strategies in the long run. After identify an entry point, I 'usually' determine my stop loss on the hi/lo of the previous 5 or 7 min. bar (more or less depending on how I think the market is trending or sideways). If I...

    Best options broker?

torntech, OptionXpress does not have streaming option quotes, only a static page, you have to refresh to get new quotes. Both my friend and I have a 'funny' feeling with OptionXpress : it seems to us that sometimes, OptionXpress is 'skimping' our orders, e.g. we put a bid at 2.30...

    Canadian Tax Reporting

I had my tax done by an accountant, but what I did was I added up all the buy and all the sell, and made the difference, monthly, and yearly, and gave it to the accountant. It's considered as a business, not capital gain/loss.

    DaytraderDave's Trading Log

I agreed with trader Dave. Posters could post their trades, and other could gather and discuss it giving constructive comments, but not blatantly shoot it down with no explanations... We're all different, we don't all have the same tolerance to risk, nor same way of trading. It's bad...

    DaytraderDave's Trading Log

'day'Trader Dave may be right... because gaps usually close. It's a gutsy and contrarian moves, but it's a calculated risk he is taking, nothing wrong with that, as long as he respects his stop loss, otherwise a calculate risk becomes a prayer. :) Cheers! :p
