I've been trading Forex for years, I just wanted to get some perspective on it. If it is as hard as people keep telling me, I think I can make better money elsewhere.

Open an account with a Forex broker. Then do whatever trades you'd like. I'd recommend looking into Oanda or GFT.

Is Forex really a difficult market to trade versus, say, Corn or S&P futures? If you think so, why? Please don't reply with anything along the lines that Forex is a scam.

Good, simple advice, yet hard to actually do in my opinion. But if you are not able to do it, in my book you are not a professional. On a side note, do you believe someone can become a successful trader if it is merely a hobby to them?

How I handle my winning or losing streaks, or just a winner or a loser, is a purely psychological matter. How I handle that will play a role in how I trade in the future. So for me, psychology, with a bit of philosophy, are both very, very important.
