I thought the person want to meet in the north suburbs. And why would Ceres be the best location? I'm not from Englewood and I'd imagine the other guy is not from North Lawndale. Do you know anything about those places?

How much $ did you lose until you made $ trading ?

I lost a few thousand, which was a lot for me. And this is assuming I'm not done losing yet...:D What I wish I had done was trade as small as possible for as long as possible. Trading is a grind, plain and simple, in my opinion. Paper trading was useful in teaching me some basics on how...

Video shows teens beating Chicago student to death

Crime in some Chicago neighborhoods is absolutely out of control. The city is just too corrupt to report any of it. Seems like a kid gets murdered every day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XN3lT7Biq0

The reason I ask is because I hear so many complaints about FX brokers "screwing" people over. No doubt some are up to some shady things, but for the most part I think it's nothing more than an excuse for people to use for their poor trading.

OK I understand and/or agree with what you're saying, except for the last part, which I'm not sure I understand completely. What do you mean by the sum of odds? Does that just mean the importance that each time frame holds for yourself?

Let me see if I am understanding what you are saying about "noise." There is no noise because every move in the market causes traders' perceptions to change and that is information, not noise. Am I on the right path? If so, that means that people always follow the probabilities, even...

Thanks for the good response. I agree that JPY is quite noisy on the daily chart but I do trade quite a bit in it. I'd say EUR/JPY also has a lot of noise, and out of the rest of the markets I trade, those 2 take that title.

I'm not trying to start an argument, rather a discussion. I have a basic understanding of leverage, but mine has always been the same and I don't think that will change.

Sorry to have come off that way. I have experience in Forex but little in other markets, so I was just wondering what traders who have experience in both have to say. Might you be one of them? Good trading.

I agree. The odd hours definitely add some to the difficulty level. I keep an eye on an economic calendar as well. Good luck to you as well.

Still hoping someone will have some insight as to whether or not Forex is more difficult to trade than other markets, and if so why? If not, I'll go away.

I don't have much interest in options but thanks anyway. As far as futures go, I've traded them on the Euro. I think the difficulty level between the futures and the EUR/USD is about equal, I can't imagine how it could be anything else. That goes for my style, maybe not a shorter-term one.
