I agree, but only a few in futures. For newbies, it's just plain dumb to even try it in this environment. I guess losses makes their life more exciting. More power to them!

Dumbo, this is his way of explaining to the masses of asses that he's willing to live with a very small edge which, in the long run is enough to earn him a profit. Much like a casino. He's not giving you the mechanics of how/what he trades.

I suspect that, as in real estate, it's not so much the amount of buying as the lack of ''real'' sellers. Where are they going to put the proceeds? Without some *real* bad news catalyst, nobody heads for the door and the non-existent volatility continues or even worsens.

Very capital and commission intensive. Not good for retail traders as a result. Volatility is just too low for this strategy to be effective.

My performance is great! I just don't trade the ''NQ'' or the rest of the ''nazdogs''. If you insist on contributing what's left of your acct to that index and whoever manipulates the crap out of it, be my guest.

If you don't think so, simply ask for acct statements from newbies who attempt to trade it or the negative results from the "pro's'' who claim they can.

I think Echotrade used to let you trade<100 shares and would charge 1 cent per with no minimum. I don't know if that policy is still in effect.

How do you ''re-weigh'' a capitalization-based index? The only way I know of is to add/remove components, otherwise it would not be a ''true'' cap-based index!
