    Nice. What I'm backtesting right now are systems on 5min timeframe... I need something that I can close out EOD... 30min bars would require some overnight holds I would assume...

    I was watching NCC this afternoon and around 2:15pm EST someone came in and dumped over 2 million shares, and followed that up with a few more million. I could be wrong but I thought NCC was being taken over? I'm curious why an institution would be dumping so many shares at such a low price...

    I agree. And not all bears are now bullish. Van Tharp, who has been quite bearish, is still quite bearish, suggesting that a bottom will not be reached until the majority of P/E ratios are single digits. The market has rallied well the last couple weeks but is quickly approaching overbought...

    Where can I find online charts for commodities? I generally use stockcharts.com and can pull up charts for $WTIC and $GOLD, but for things pork bellies, wheat, coffee etc. where can I get a chart? What are the symbols?

    So if I have a cash account I can't short but I don't have to worry about PDT? If I have a margin account less than 25k I'll get flagged for PDT on multiple trades? Sounds like I need to have a $25 k margin account...

    Okay, good info. Just to clarify, if I open a cash account with a CDN broker (under $25k), I can only trade CDN stocks, is this correct? Or can I trade both CDN and US without PDT problems so long as my broker is in Canada?

    Daytrading, probably 50 trades a day, starting small but then moving 1000 share lots... Offhand do you know who has the cheapest per share price for the style described above?
