Have you considered upgrading your computer? It appears you will be at a disadvantage when competing with others. Delays of seconds will kill you, especially if you daytrade.

Can I use eSignal for free to play either its delayed data or thrid-party data sources (eg IB)? PS: Seems not. If there're no good freeware alternatives, I'm willing to pay if it's cheap.

Yes, it is nice for chartists. However it seems it is not flexible and fast enough to place and manage different orders (eg Buy and cancel orders cannot be done quick. Need to press Buy, then press Cancel)
