Yahoo gets its US stock data from CSI. CSI's volumes are consistently lower than places so it's missing some trades. Don't even get me started on their stock splits and dividends!

Firstly: why not ask them. Secondly: eoddata's data is terrible - missing symbols, poor corporate action handling, survivorship bias. Several years ago I purchased history and a subscription from them. Not worth the money once you figure out the quality.

You say "market never traded that low". The "on-market" includes all trades reported to the tape including the opening and closing price auctions. Note that the official close can be somewhat after 4pm so this is where you have an an error in your definition. PS - The index opens are a joke...
