How do I develop my day trading strategy?

If you really want to develop your own strategy then perhaps start by writing down around 10 of your most significant ideas on trading, then expand on them and refine them into different areas. Then repeat the above in the light of forward testing, making notes as you go. No idea is too small...

What are some useful things learned from Al Brooks price-action books?

This is where some sort of verified track record comes in handy. :) OK it doesn't guarantee the suitability of the methods used for anyone else, but it's a very good start. Otherwise it's too easy to fall under the spell of plausible deniability, especially where the alternative is to accept...

What are some useful things learned from Al Brooks price-action books?

Because there's numerous charlantans out there, some *very* convincing. And the best way for the new trader to avoid all of these frauds is simply to insist on a properly verified track record. Absent of that, you can make your best educated guess, but you never really know...

What are some useful things learned from Al Brooks price-action books?

To quote the tradingschools.org website: 'Is showing a record of trades a criminal act? TradingSchools.Org, in the past two years, has written extensively about trading educators. Not once have we ever witnessed a trading educator getting into trouble for being honest with consumers. In fact...

Fibonacci works due to self fufilling prophecy or becuz 618 is embeded in humans?

Seems to work better on extensions than retrace. OTOH when a move retraces quite soon after happening, the midpoint can be significant, but 50% isn't a Fibonnacci number as such....

    Hard boiled egg

My 2p/2c: Easiest method to cook is to bring to the boil then turn of the heat and wait; 20 minutes works for me. I use an old travel kettle if I just want one or two. Easiest method for removing shell is to pierce or crack the more rounded end of the egg a little before boiling, it lets some...
