    What is Opentick's business model? They spend thousands a month for servers, bandwith and market data. But they give their service away for free and don't make any money. Why would you run a business that has large monthly cost but no revenue to cover those costs? What am I missing here?

    You could lease a dedicated server from a web hosting company like Godaddy.com. And load your software on there and it will run from there, and the hosting company should have redundancy for these servers. You can lease one for less than $100 a month.

    Doesn't ROUT attempt to hit all other ECN's? Still, with Reg NMS your order will get routed to another ECN, and the routing fee is only an extra $0.0003.
