I think volume is the only essential indicator. I won't make any plays unless relative volume is at least 2. I don't want to be trading against the HFC's. I then use volume for specific plays or Setups. Breakouts, reversals etc

The yellow arrows are for news. You can disable it in chart options. Another cool thing in chart options, is show my trades as dashes. You can see where you get in and out of the trade on the candlesticks.

There's no reason it couldn't be implemented in scanners and the like. I use Trade-Ideas and it already supports pre market volume (ie volume before market open)
