Don, you actually reccommending someone to hold losers overnight? That is a recipe for account closing. There should be no circumstances for a daytrader to hold losers overnight, once you start holding then you ineffect have become an investor.

I want to clear some things up concerning Nasdaq emini. During market hours If I gain 1 point I get $20 ? For aftermarket its $40 for every 1 point gain? Does IB charge $2.40 for each contract per ticket? So if I buy 2 contracts it be $4.80 for one ticket and round trip will be $9 ?

It seems IB is the only broker that has this 25k min daytrade rule, other brokers I call are accepting 10k accounts. The problem they told me is IB register themselves as a daytrade firm, while they register themselves as a online trading firm. The search for a broker continues.. arghhh
