the blog (of sorts) is free but he does have a daily advisory that is anything but! what most people are missing is that Mark is a very short term trader and he could very well be profitable in the ST while bearish and wrong in the LT

The auction goes on *theoretically* until May 3rd 2007. But due to the nature of a Dutch auction, it can be all over much, much sooner. Basically as soon as all 20 million shares are spoken for. When that happens, a clearing price is applied. And those who bid have to purchase the IPO shares.

nkhoi, as I mention in my review, I was also hesitant to get the book because I assumed it would only be useful for systematic traders. But there is much in the book for discretionary traders as well. Actually Curtis talks about the dichotomy between the two in a recent blog post.
