I'm not sure if this would be any more permissible for you, but it starting trading in July and is a commodities futures index with many securities-type features: the ability to be held in securities accounts, pricing and margin more like a stock, and a distant contract expiration date of June...

Can anyone recommend a discount futures broker for trading the GSCI? Though the CME says the contract trades on Globex as well as the pit, Interactive Brokers doesn't seem to have it.

It was reported to eSignal and they acknowledged it as a problem due to a bad server file that they are replacing with the prior working one. It was wreaking havoc on bond futures traders who were no longer seeing price quotes in 32nds.

The default hotkeys that use a left mouse click work fine. Those I set up using Ctrl + Left Click and Alt + Left Click also work. But when I set up a hotkey with Shift + Left Click and try it, nothing happens. Is this just a problem peculiar to my system? Does a hotkey using Shift + Left...

I've seen that eSignal - at times - shows several prints for ES for each one that I see in TWS. If IB "lumps" some, that could be the answer. I've also recently seen a few ES trade sizes of 400 - 600, when the contract limit is supposed to be only 250.

Of course I checked the CBOT web site first. It said that YG is supposed to now trade from 8:15 PM CST to 4 PM CST. I do not see that happening in TWS, and that is why I was asking.

I added YG to my IB quotes page, but it always seems to be closed. For example, today, 7/21/03 at 7 PM, the August 2003 contract has a "last price" of C347.30, with no bids or offers. For the July 2003 contract, it says C347.20. I don't see any activity during the day either. Does anyone...

I also tried to get on numerous times from 3:00PM to 7:00PM to see what was being said about the latest Globex ES fiasco. I could ping the server but could not access the web site.

TWS is updating very slowly since 10:00 and missing many of the ES fills that I see happening in eSignal. Anybody else seeing problems?

That was almost exactly the same time period that I was unable to connect.
