Any info I was able to get was on that CFE page on the CBOE as well...For how busy those pages are, I couldn't find much relevant data at all. Evidently there's mini vix futures as well. I'm just going to talk this guy out of wanting to trade them hopefully...Sounds like an easy way to get had.
I am looking for anyone with experience trading these, what is volume, open interest like? I can't seem to find data like yesterdays settle, previous days volume, avg. volume, etc...Thanks for any input.
I hear ya but today looks pretty supportive from a technical POV. Fundamentals aside, maybe we give back half of today's move on Friday to consolidate and resume higher? Either way, looks like its attempting a bottom in the nearbys somewhere in here.
Be weary of anyone named "Vic". Be particularly weary if aforementioned "Vic" is trying to peddle financial advice. All that being said, he's probably right but not really going out on a limb at all...
I almost completely explained futures spreads and the UNG scam again...Whew. You dont have to do much research to get to the bottom of this. Try googling "UNG".
I am looking for info on the GSCI or the CRB, if there is a liquid futures contract or any other futures contract that has a basket of commods in it that people have traded...I see some pit traded quotes but can't see any volume or OI data. Thanks!
Atrade has been charging me $20 per option I've been assigned on, either selling puts or getting excercised on covered calls. Is this reasonable? Negotiable? What's everyone else paying for these? Thanks for everything in this forum...
I really don't see the point in following the journal of someone who is an entry level trader, figuring out a strategy...let alone on a demo. Are there no limitations on who can start a journal thread? What a waste of bandwidth...
I used to work in the MGEX pit. We would just laugh when people would call about those contracts, or worse, try to trade them...The exchange had found someone to make a market for them but I think that fell through also.
