hi, i used FXCM for a bit, and they were ok, but my style is really scalping (3-7) pips a trade, and in order to do this i need to use the currency futures on globex. the spreads can be as small as 1 pip on globex. what type of trading are you looking to do?

x-trader is up and running, once i got them on the phone they were very helpful in fixing the problem.

i got thru on the phone and they said they are working on it. so far, velocity has been great, which this was a bit of a shock, but i am giving them the benefit of the doubt. i'll let you guys know how it all turns out... hopefully before the european open :)

i think you can use it with anything, it just stores keystrokes that you program.

i bought a progamable keypad from x-keys about 3 months ago, and it works really well. i have it set up that each key is set to my program hot key such as ctrl-B, so it allows me one key trade execution, and is seperate from my keyboard.

thanks for the info, i've been trading for awhile, the last prop place i worked at was schonfeld, great equity desks, esp. for nyse. not much focus on futures though. futures have shown a lot of promise lately, thats why i have been more interested in finding a firm that trades them...

does anyone know of any prop firms in the NYC area that focus on trading futures?
