Let's discuss trading styles that don't involve prediction

My way of trading involves no prediction but just a long or short BIAS. I need to have a bias just to know if I should be long or short. I try to be in the market from open to close most of the time reversing the previous trade. If I make money its just because I happened to be in the market...

How do the big boys 'talk' to each other during trading session?

Let me state my question this way: Take any price chart, you see a few narrow range bars and then comes the breakout with the bar size multiple times the size of the previous narrow bars. One way this could happen is if all the MM's (or their bots) on the offer pull their offers out at the...

How do the big boys 'talk' to each other during trading session?

Ok so we all know that the house always wins, only the elite few can move markets and so forth. I am sure there is more than one group of the elite who are trading the same instrument. If the various elite groups always make money, then they must be entering and existing at/nearly the same time...

Trading with a Stop Loss in the Futures Market is for Losers

the real problem with stop loss is once it is hit, traders think the world has come to an end.. they lack the guts to get back in one way or the other.

    95% are losers

i am tired of this baseless 90% trades lose statistic like someone went and surveyed all the traders.. and survey year after year to see if they are still in business or not.. how the hell does anyone know what is the true % of traders that do make it... reading posts on ET, it makes me think...

    Percent Volatility Model

Say you are trying to get into a stock at $100 and the 5 or 10 day ATR is $2, then the amount you risk per trade will have to be proportional to the ATR (or volatility). In this case after you buy the stock, you put a stoploss that is always at x times the ATR below the buy price. Say x = 10...
