the real problem with stop loss is once it is hit, traders think the world has come to an end.. they lack the guts to get back in one way or the other.

I use IB for the same reasons you mentioned. commission is $4.80 RT. works good as long as you dont trade large sizes.

how about hedging using options to trade es/nq during regular trading hours on an intraday timeframe??

Anyone hedging emini with options of some sort (when day trading)? say use qqqq options when trading NQ or use spy options for ES. Is this strategy worth exploring or should I stick to plain stop loss? -Kris
