A journal is good but nothing beats hard data. Use the journal to steer you toward what hard data to collect and focus on.

I believe right now the market is "training" c/t traders to fade the 2-3pt breakdowns. This will set them up for a flush of 7-10+ pts straight on one of these b/d's.

Yeah, I don't think it's too common to repeat the pattern like that 2 days in a row, especially the same direction. But I guess it does happen. At least the chop started mid-day rather than at the open, which is the worst (for me anyway). :cool:

Your initial call of expansion north to 1.00 range was spot on. I'm looking at 93 for the channel top on the hourly, for another bear flag before possible further downside. The 93 will probably overshoot if it gets there.

LF just curious ... what is your real-time criteria to judge whether a swing has completed, or is it not that important in real time?
