Looks good. Just one caveat about imageshack... if you have a lot of thumbs or direct images on your journal page, it can severely slow down the load time of journal. I had to shut down a journal at moneytec because of all of the thumbnails I had accumulated per journal page. But I also...

    Best sports for traders

For starters, golf isn't a sport. It's a game. A highly skilled game, but not a sport. If you don't sweat, have a dress code, and ride a cart, how can it be a sport? :) I think sports or any game or endeavor that is competitive in nature and requires some amount of skill and practice is...

    How Bout InterbankFX vs Oanda

Luckyily I dodged that spike, but a few weeks ago, I got hit with one. In their defense, I will say that I've been to their office, met with the owners/management... whoever. Unless they were lying to my face, all of their trades go to a bank. About a year ago, they started offereing...

I'm not too familiar with Murray Math. I programmed them once for VT for someone, but never played with them. They look very similar to Camarilla's. What are the rules for trading them? I'll be watching your posts concerning them. I'm pretty happy with the Cams right now. Even with last...

    4X Made Hard

I modified the 4X Made Hard 2.0 version to show better x-overs and also plot price. The X-overs have no bearing on where they happen regarding the price level. They're just a signal to long or short. Attention has to be paid to where price is and targets are still based on price levels and s/r...

Interesting. No, I've never really done that, although my dynamic pivots sort of do that.. they adjust during the day's volitility. Subsequently, the are more accurate, but being dynamic, the values can change as new highs/lows are made. And of course at then end of the day they appear spot...

They key is that you include the previous periods major high/low. 10AM CST vs 5:00 PM EST would be a pretty big difference in previous period H/L wouldn't it? Anywho... the major question is usually 5:00 PM EST or midnight EST.

    Saki's Forex Reversal Journal

5:00 PM EST is the time I calculate all of my pivots from.. standard, cams, and dynamic. Mainly because that's the daily candle open/lose from the data source... CMS VT API. I've got an autopivot plotter for MT4 which as an input parameter for time of day to calculate from and I still use...

I've been playing off of the Camarilla pivots doing the exact same thing. Very uncanny.

EURUSD Trade summary 9-7. http://www.precisetraders.com/forex/PTS_9-7_1.gif Before the close of the Asian and open of the Euro session, price did a nice little run up giving a classic 1-2-3 setup. I jumped in at 1.2475 after the 1.2470 15M fractal line was broken. Daily channel is up, all...

    4X Made Hard

Still waiting for a bone fide swing signal out of the system. In the interim I had a couple of small trades last night. Long EURUSD at 1.2480 and closing at 1.2500 at railway tracks and system median rejection. Then reversed and went short to and trailing stop triggered at 1.2470.

    Saki's Forex Reversal Journal

The levels adjust for the daily High/Low/Close. Basically, at the start of a Daily candle, the indicator calculates the pivots from the previous day High/Low/Close. If the current day's High/Low surpass those of the previous day's, then pivots adjust themselves based on the new central pivot...

Does anyone use linear regression to day trade the markets?

    Saki's Forex Reversal Journal

After looking at the code, this is something I've been playing around with for a while in Excel. My version uses a projected HIGH/LOW based on a Tom Demark method. At the end of the day, it's spot on a lot of the time... but during the day as the numbers update based on new highs/lows, it's a...

Interesting. I'll give it a run on my MT4. Mt4 looks so much better than MT3. I may have to convert and learn mq4. VT is easy, but so limited.
