    Buy Low, sell high

It works if you know what low is ? If stock X is at 10.00 and has been trending $8,$9, now $10 based on good earning news that just came out. Is $10 the new low, the base on which you see it go to $12 or $13 ? Was $8 the low, but you are buying against the uncertainty of downside risk...

What is your most common used adjustment if an options credit bull put spread...

I dont know of any way to make credit spread works in the long run. You are tempted to sit out the shorts until it expires and in the mean time your losses are mounting. At the last moment your emotion got in the way and you take a steep loss to close. Anyone have a real solution to this ?

    Time of day to trade.

Not knowing your strategy in detail or which underlying you are targeting prevents a more definitive answer. However trades at or just after open are notorious for reversing trends and flip flop several times. For me in my earlier trading the open is almost always a losing deal even in the most...

Why is the VIX so low if people are still uncertain?

To me the title makes no sense. VIX is up when people are fearful. It is reflected in the price of hedges ( S&P option prices are used in the calculation in this case). VIX is up when there's prevalent fear. VIX is also up when the market is mildly optimistic. VIX reached 30 today, generally...
