ok,
I'm using the e-mini's to track s&p500 movement
during the trading day [I don't trade them],
but which one is better right now, June2 or Sept2 ?
both?
I thought the June2 might expire [after June2].
Not being at all familiar with futures,
I'm a little confused.
thanks...
You have to catch these things when they are happening
I think it's too late now
I happened to see it the previous evening around .90-.95
[and shorted it]

For all interested
Don Bright's open heart surgery went well on Friday,
according to his brother Bob [via their radio show].
He's in a little pain, which is to be expected,
but should be back to norm in a week to 10 days.

:)
I'm looking for stocks with low volatility/betas
Can someone recommend a site for stock lists,
or possibly a scanner
Here's one I've found that looks interesting

a recent experience with IB
I cancelled a NYSE GTC sell right at the 4pm close
and the green went to pink.
I sold the stock in the afterhours.
I have been trading with IB for over a year,
and didn't know "pink" isn't a done deal...only "red."
If it had been a DAY trade it would have...
a little off-topic but,
I want to use the E-Minis to follow s&p500 futures
on the IB platform
is the symbol ES?
It says something about subscribing.
Does this mean I have to pay to view this real-time quote?
I'm unfamiliar with futures.
thanks

are there any important pros/cons of Flat Panels vs standard monitors? [other than cost]
I like the Flat Panels, but I also like large screens, which can be expensive in a flat panel

what price is used to start out with, in calculating OOO's?
do you use an official NYSE close?
as you know stocks can move up or down in the after hours,
and the last trade can be different
I'll be in class Monday, at Bright
thanks

You can ask questions during the seminar, and you may take it as many times as you wish, for free.
Also, I'm sure Don, Bob or Earl are available via e-mail or phone, for more information on any topic covered.
