You really gotta work on controlling your vices and executing your system as best you can. This is a major roadblock between the hobby trader and the professional trader. It does take time to re-work natural tendencies in order to better interact with the mkts and it's easier for some to adapt...

Ok, I didn't know you also scale. I guess if odds are that great why wait to scale in...you might miss the move that way.

You ever try scaling in? Seems that, unless you're finding yourself timing the mkt perfectly more often than not, it might help to enter in pieces as opposed to one shot.

I started with 25k (to trade with) and had enough income saved up to live (very) frugally on for a few years at most. My wife (g-friend at the time) was making a nice living so that helped on the relationship front. I started trading VERY SMALL and that was after spending months doing nothing...
