    Scalping e-minis

I was thinking of something like: Trading 100T bars, with your average loss being a tick or 2 and your average profit being 4 or 5 ticks with a 60% or so win/loss ratio.

    Scalping e-minis

I asked this once before about 3 months ago,and didn't get to much info, but since this forum has increased by several thousand members since then, I'll ask again. Does anyone know of any books or sites that specialize in techniques for scalping the e-minis? Thanks

    Limit Orders Vs. Market Orders

First off...I just want to say that I agree with everybody...lol Usually the rule of thumb is..."Use a limit order for entry and a market order for exit". But, as several posters have pointed out, with todays ultra-fast electronic executions, you can use market orders...

    how to use tick charts?

Glad to help...I use "Omega supercharts real/time". I think all the Omega products create these charts. Also, I've been told "Metastock pro" draws these charts and I'm almost positive " Ensign Software"does, too.

    how to use tick charts?

Hey Adx trader...I trade 100T charts. Why?...because I like them. They seem to offer a clearer picture of the markets pulse to me. I've attached a 3 minute chart from 8:30 to 10:00 and a 100T chart from 8:30 to 10:00, also. Personally, I just think 100T...

Any one taken courses from RS of Houston or TradersInternational?

I don't understand the CFTC...I looked up Ed Moore and got some guy who'd been ripping off the public and making wild claims (I don't think it's the Ed Moore you're talking about), and what do they do? They fine him a measley $15,000 bucks and he's back in business...

    The Bollinger Bandit Strikes Again

3rd trade stopped out... Okay, this is the last chart...lol So far, I'm basically even for the day. This is a "day in the life" pretty much. When the trade showed 3 handles of profit, I had to lower and keep my stop around 6 ticks to lock in something...

    The Bollinger Bandit Strikes Again

I'm not sure what software or data provider you use, but I know "Tradestation" draws tick charts, and I think "Metastock" draws tick charts. And I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure "Ensign" draws tick charts. And I'm pretty sure they are all compatible with eSignal data...

    The Bollinger Bandit Strikes Again

That's great, buddy... But 6 ticks is too tight a stop for me. I'm doing a lot of soul searching on stops. That's cool...just remember one thing. The amount you risk should be correlated to your account size. So, if you risk 3 handles ($150.00), you should have at least a...
