Who gives a crap what Baron makes from Elite Trader? If he's breaking even, he's a nice guy for keeping the site up. If he's making a ton of money from the site, then he's a very shrewd and nice guy.

    anyone trading off news?

You didn't give any parameters for the type of news you play, aside from guessing, hoping it works, and getting out too soon on the ones that do work.

    anyone trading off news?

Congrats that you're able to trade successfully off of news. Can you share your methods of picking which news to trade off of, and do you trade in the direction of the news, or do you fade it?

    level 2 OPINIONS please

Without getting into a lot of detail, the good MMs are good because they can do one thing: Move a lot of shares and hide what their intentions are (ok, that's 2 things). They'll very rarely blatantly show size and broadcast to the world what they're doing. If anything, when they're showing...

    level 2 OPINIONS please

My cable was out from Tuesday afternoon until today, so I was stuck with a dial-up connection. Since RT is such a bandwidth hog, I was down to a "scaled down" page with some charts and no Level 2. I really didn't miss the Level 2 at all!

True locals in the pit are only trading their own accounts, like us. Also, most newbies would want to start trading E-minis, which are traded electronically. It also helps to have a live squawk box to the pit to hear who's playing.

    Limiting Beliefs

Mark Douglas' "Trading in the Zone" is an excellent book on trading psychology, specifically on "trading demons" and knowing yourself. I rate it a "strong buy," lol. He's also going to be giving an online workshop in March. If you want details, email me.
