I cant make trading work for me

I've been there. and understand your pain. Until you find another job, your priority is capital preservation and risk control. You cannot afford to take even one hit on shares gapping overnight against you. Don't even think about daytrading or penny stocks or even swing trading shares. Swing...

Futures Challenge Sub 2k account to 20k and then quit job?

My 2 cents based on my own daytrading journey. Discipline is as important as method. Risk control is MOST important. I used to have 5-6 consecutive winning days and then give it all back in 1 day. Happened a few times after which I got wise. Never keep mental stops, put in a hard stop within 2...

Are there more risks with indices?

It depends on the method or system you are using. Indices are more liquid and don't have massive overnight gaps, unlike stocks. If you know what you are doing, then hedging the position is also an option. IMO, indices are much easier.

(poll)Will the stock market crash hard by end of 2020?

Remember the last election counting day. When Trump went into the lead the Dow dropped -600 and then recovered it all and some to close in +. No matter who wins, the market will celebrate, and then crash after.
