JPB - details as described by nextrend re their upcoming scanner features below... it is limited as it stands now altho I have managed to make it work better for me recently having pretty well ignored it before. While nowhere near as user friendly as the more expensive scanners available...

Well done Jay.. their support seems to be very good and responsive.. I asked them a few questions earlier today and got a prompt response too.. they are working on a new version due to be released march/april.. this is going to improve several things especially in regard to the market scan...

Thought I would try starting a thread for NexTrend users who have discovered useful aspects of the software and wanna share.. I have used it for six months and like it despite the odd glitches and annoying data delays etc.. overall well worth the cost.. have begun to customise more and tackle...

Probably a bit late in the day to enter this thread... but I will anyway.. I suppose it depends on what people are seeking in a chatroom.. I find it almost impossible to follow anyone, not in my nature I guess, but the rooms that attempt to educate traders and not just give calls to blindly...

I agree with much of the wise words given here and have also found this site excellent for advice and links to good info.. have been trading a few months now and it is SO hard! But then it is also great fun too... I don't know if I will succeed in the end, but I do know I can't imagine a better...

Have had delays also with BEST EX.. but not as bad as over 2 mins.. I try to see if there are enough ecn's on the bid/offer and go with BEST ECN if so.. otherwise best ex.. It is a constant dilema for me.. trying to choose between market versus limit and so on... sometimes try limit to get...

What the hell is this? Just discovered a page at http://www.protrader.com/nl/07022001c.html which tells me that the new margin rules will apply from august 27 instead of the official announcement of the end of sept 2001.. is this correct? I can find no official reference to this sudden change...

Correct, as a US citizen you are not able to trade cfd's... by order of the US govt...why is that I wonder? I have used Deal4Free from Ireland and have a few comments... you can trade forex by the way and also trade in european and asian stocks, but why would you? lol I found it very useful...
