The first few versions of the 8 Series won't have this, but this has been requested before and is on the list of items to be looked at for future releases. Thanks.

Esignal - Where is your Symbols Database?

The Hot Groups Scan Window is an Add-on feature to eSignal. One alternative is QCharts from Quote.com. They have Sector Lists built in.

Esignal - Where is your Symbols Database?

You would do this with a Time Template, preferrably set to Automatic Start/End Times... like this.

Esignal - Where is your Symbols Database?

jtmarlin, The Hot Groups Scan Window is what you would need to do this. Here's a few images to show what visually it looks like, and you'll notice in the second image there's an Export List button to send those symbols to a Quote Window of your choosing. For more information about this Scan...

    Esignal outage

A summary of this issue was posted here on the eSignal Central Forums.

    Esignal outage

Bernoulli's correct. The historical data on our servers was affected by today's event (i.e. no gaps in the charts.) We are investigating why some of the statistic symbols were updating strangely.

    Esignal outage

Connectivity has been restored to our Boxborough, MA server farm. All connectivity to our Hayward, CA farm is in the process of being redirected, however service will not be completely restored for about another 30-45 minutes. We will have a post-mortem message posted on eSignal Central...

    Esignal outage

Hard to tell at this point to be honest. About 1.5-2 years ago, we were subject to a different type of distributed denial of service attack, and we were able to clear it up in about 1 hour's time. Obviously we're about 2-hours in on this one, so it's more complex this time around. We'll do...

    Esignal outage

Currently, no estimate is available. We will make a post back in this thread, when services are restored and stabilized. We will most certainly be undergoing a very thorough investigation of the cause of this issue along with what solutions need to be put into place to prevent a future attack...

    Esignal outage

We have repointed many of the connections to our back-up centers "co-locations", and last sale data is beginning to flow through those locations. If you are receiving last sale data, we suggest not trying to restart eSignal until further notice (i.e. once everything is stabilized.) Our two...

    Esignal outage

Currently, both of our major server farms are experiencing extremely high amounts of incoming data packets. This fits the pattern of a Denial of Service attack. Our network engineers are working on putting up barricades to block these packets, which will restore service to normal.

    Esignal outage

There are Internet connectivity issues out of our CA office. This is likely a major outage in the area as many of our other I'net connections (DSL, Cell Phone Wireless service, etc.) are not working as well. For those that were connected to the Hayward servers, your connections will be routed...

    Esignal and Windows Server 2003

eSignal may have problems with Windows 2003 Server. We have had a small number of reports come through experiencing problems with this OS. We are working on amending our specs page with this info after further testing.

javs, That is definitely abnormal behavior for eSignal. I would suggest checking in with our support team, so that they can troubleshoot the issue with you. Here's a link on the ways that you can contact our service department.

    eSignal 8.0, 8.1 & QCharts

Chuck's comment, "We have been re-engineering to multi-threaded 64 bit systems with dual dual core processors as we deploy hundreds of new servers on to our server farms," is referring to re-engineering of the server-side software, not the client-side application that your question from last...

    E-Signal IP address

This KB article has the IP address for traces and pings. I found this by searching our KB for the term "ping". If your friend continues to have trouble, feel free to PM me your friend's contact info and eSignal user name and I'll have a senior rep contact him/her directly. Alternatively...

This is an automated process. Citi will be corrected shortly, and our engineers continue to look into why this was missed.

    Esignal not consistently applying dividends

lescor, Our apologies for the error. We have adjusted the previous close for the ex-dividend, and are investigating why WY was this was not done automatically at the appropriate time. Corrective action will be taken as necessary.
