sure. contrary to popular belief, I believe market will engeener stop loss chase, bigger, more incentive. swing positions my stops are in range of 1-2 day ATR. If trade is right, it is going to take huge effort to stop me out so I am quite comfortable. Shortterm, your 20 pips stop on 10...

0.22 average loss 0.1, average win 1.5, 4 out of 5 are losers. 1 is unit of risk where disaster stop is. this year around 0 as of now.

problem with that approach for me is that odds are not enough skewed in my favour (at least do not have evidence) so I don't use this type of ideas.

Use non TA tools to make purchase decision. Have time stop 1 day after purchase to get rid of if not performant enough, else double up. Target min 100.
