I do not know how the other broker is giving you fills at 6.30. IB is routing the non-marketable orders in non-penny options to the exchange with good liquidity. CBOE definitely qualifies for that. IB is not selling the order flow.

We have increased the refresh rate on the index futures, forex and all options quotes to 10 times a second. We will be increasing the stocks and etfs in the near future. We might have to cut back the options to the way they were (3-4 times a second).

Just curious, are you a customer of IB? If so, why?

I think you should call the help desk and ask them to look it up for you. Otherwise, you'll just end up reading pages and pages of guesses.

IB does individual options in pennies.

You should be able to do that by turning off the penny feature, but I tried myself and it does not work for me either. We'll fix it.

We are working on changing the cancellation fees so that they only apply when we we have to cancel/modify a resting order at the exchange. This will take approx 2 weeks.
