Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president.

Red Pill strikes again. Once upon a time I use to read the "manosphere" and they love bodybuilding types & pick up artists. The 3 most influential members of that movement were the 3 Rs, Roissy, Rollo Tomasi & RooshV. Most of them disappeared by 2018-2019 but they were all very influential in...

11 Bitcoin ETFs to trade from today

BITX has been around for a while, but I think it uses BRR (CME Futures) to get 2X leverage, maybe BITU uses the spot index so its less prone to the contango rollover. I still don't understand why IBIT doesn't have options yet? It trades like 30-50 million shares a day.

    Disney...

Didn't Earn It is pretty funny. That is pretty accurate. Like all things of leftist origin DEI is a way for losers to participate. The PharmaIT company I worked at was full of diversity hires that were extremely under qualified. Every week I had to explain to them the different types of index...

    Disney...

Disney's main business is their bloated theme parks which cost an arm and a leg to go to. I doubt people want to keep paying $2000 for a weekend at their hotels.

NVIDIA and the Cautionary Tale of Cisco Systems

This is a pipe dream that short sellers always tell you. Short sellers have done real well so far haven't they? If it was that easy to do these companies which have more money than God would have done it already. You should sell all your assets and go short in NVDA right now if it this simple.

    CNN SUCKS!!!

So sad what happened to CNN. It was once great telejournalism but that was under Ted Turner. When he sold out to Time-Warner it slowly got eroded by it's move to infotainment. The same thing happened to TBS but it survives on its sports contracts (though mainly via TNT). I remember watch Indira...

Grab Your Popcorn, Porn Comes to Fashion Week!

Looks a lot like the lingerie from Blacked/Vixen/Tushy websites. Blacked started way back in March 2014, however it has a different owner now but surprisingly the quality hasn't tanked yet.

Too old to jail British billionaire gets fined for insider trading

Just another scumbag who thought he was immune from consequences. If securities fraud had an automatic death penalty, I'm sure there would be fewer crimes of this type.

    Which is better?

AMZN will benefit from AI & of course their growing internet advertising business in the short term. TSLA looks like it is going lower due to the appearance of EV adoption slowing down at least here in the US.

    J. P Morgan Chase is dropping Panasonic from their ADR...Maybe

I think the LVMH, Hermes & Richemont stock I own are unsponsered ADS (they trade on the OTCBB like most of the Grayscale crypto CEFs). Ferrari on the other hand is a real ADR, hence the options on it but not the other three luxury stocks.

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

That is the most salient point. Politicians are just too weak willed to go against the grain. In the end you need a financial collapse for any real change to occur like the GFC or a banking collapse like what occurred in 1929-1932. Only then can Progressives come in and create a better society.

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

Very good article, if accurate. Stamp taxes, negative gearing allowances & other tax incentives all for the boomers. I guess in the end the homeowner class out votes the rental class just like here in the US & Canada. I thought things would get better after Morrison got booted but that was too...

Hot cocoa anyone? Just hit all time high at 10K per metric ton

What's the cheapest way to trade it? ICE data fees are too much for me to pay & I didn't see any ETFs on it.

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

I wonder why in the US home builders are making tons of money but in Australia they are collapsing? I mean there is surplus demand in the US as well besides commercial real estate which is a disaster. $1 million for homes? There are home builders in the US selling for less than $500,000 in some...

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

Just watch The Killing Fields. It is a pretty scary movie. I like how Pol Pot is referred to as Brother Number 1. Khmer Rouge destroyed the intellectual class and set Cambodia back decades. Very sad. Its amazing no one tried killing that psychopath.

The market is SO WRONG at this point

Let's face it, the only thing keeping this market afloat is enterprise spending in AI hardware, software development & cybersecurity (for deepfakes). I guess you can throw in the traveling sector where the upper middle-class and above are still into it (the K-gun recovery hypothesis). Unless AI...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president.

I think the rise of Independents in the 2024 election seem to further my view that 2012 was the last of the traditional D vs. R battle. Trump is not really a traditional GOP figure. He was a Democrat before running in 2016. He's a kind of independent himself. It seems that the Democrats want to...

    RIP

Enemy Mine was a great sci-fi movie and Louis Gossett Jr was one of the reasons. He was also in a few episodes of Good Times, which was itself based on A Raisin In The Sun.

    MAGA Isolationism

I remember reading Noam Chomsky's political books and they cover everything you stated. Manufacturing Consent is a great diatribe about the hypocrisy of the US government and US media especially his rebukes about the New York Times and their false claims of neutrality. All the news that's fit...

Morgan Stanley Credits ‘Bidenomics’ for Economic Surge

This is a good point. Bonds were destroyed in 2022 and if not for the Silicon Valley Bank collapse they would have been destroyed again in 2023. At the end of October 2023 the 10 year treasuries were yielding 5% due to all the treasury auctions by Yellen. The markets are up only because of...
