Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

I think the real issue is most investors aren't used to holding fixed income so they are antsy to get back in the market. That is the sentiment that @v-shape-ODTE embodies correctly. The charts say to sell and that is the tug of war currently. Even short term charts like the 30 min or 2 hr...

Are we in for S&L Crisis 2.0? All eyes are on CRE reset in 2025

They'll just dust off their CDO playbook form 2008-9. Bring back Maiden Lane and stuff the junk in there and employ extent & pretend. After all this administration believes in fairy tales like MMT.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

It's amazing how symmetrical the up move and then down move was. It was like a bell curve. I guess it was Powell's commentary on stagflation that triggered it. Usually nothing positive ever comes from the Fed babbling on.

    CZ in jail

The US just simply doesn't take financial crimes seriously. That's why it keeps happening over and over again. Nothing else needs to be said. CZ was a vile person who makes Milken look like Frosty the Snowman.

Vote: Who thinks S&P500 will reverse trend in the next 10 days (2 weeks)?

The July-October 2023 drawdown on the NQ was 12% so if the 10yr rate goes back up to 5+% you could see that and more.

    CZ in jail

Amazing only 4 months of prison. I guess crime really does pay.

    Losing weight with weight watchers

WW stock is so bad it has done worse than ZM since the peak in Oct 2020. Down 91% vs. 87%. WW is currently worth $147 million and it will dead in a few years. Hurricane Oprah decimated the stock.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

CPI will not fall much since rents keep rising, so do insurance & used car prices. The pumpers at Morgan Stanley are living on hopium. How can rents drop when their equivalent housing costs for ownership keep rising? Here in the SF bay area whenever a property goes on sale there are 20 buyers...

    Cocoa futures

Looks like the uptrend is broken, of course it ocould just go back to the Feb highs of $6,500 which is what I would have thought with a 50% supply shock. Maybe demand destruction is finally here.

Ironlev: magnetic operation on traditional train tracks

Pretty interesting if it works on current infrastructure. I remember when I studied Inorganic Chemistry in the late 1980s there was a lot of research into Magnetic Levitation (maglev) but the materials tested required low temperatures to be stable since were mainly Ytterbium based.

    Cocoa futures

Yeah that makes sense. Most people love their chocolate products. I remember during the pandemic that Nutella prices skyrocketed in the aftermath of shortages. The only pure play short I could come up with is shorting Hersheys. It does keep going down so it has worked so far.

    Which way? Gold.

I'm sure a guy with a postgraduate degree in Environmental Science loves miners. It does sound reminiscent of Chavez and his ousting of US & French oil operators. Better hope Marape has competent refinery workers or PNG will go down hard & he will be ousted in a coup. I imagine more...

    Cocoa futures

If Cocoa supply goes down 50% shouldn't the price be around $6,000 (it was ~$3,000 before Covid hit)? Why is it $11,000+?

ES performance vs NQ and YM today

I observed the correlation as well. Works almost every day except for volatility events on stocks with high weightings in the indices. UNH+BA have recently dragged down the YM. If NVDA tanks on its next earnings report it will skew both ES & NQ. YM == value stocks NQ == growth stocks ES ==...

    Forever Bull Market

It's largely based on the TLT action, I think. First day in a while TLT went up -- actually it started going up towards the end of Friday. 10 year rates at 4.66% & commodities rising means volatility will rise. I think it will just be an adjustment & the rally will continue. If rates go towards...

    Iran’s attack on Israel "imminent"

Iran would get obliterated of the face of the earth if they attacked. Nobody has ever defeated Israel or US for that matter. Middle East Muslim nations vs. Israel has a 0% success rate. Why these idiots believe otherwise is a mystery. I guess Iranian leaders are too busy trying to kill girls...

80% PROFIT MARGIN - Now ya talkin'

Amazing. And the same idiots want to go after Apple for charging 30% for their own App Store. It proves only dumb fucks work at the government.

Time to sell Nvidea? Meta and Google announce they'll make their own "in-house AI chips"

More nonsense from the idiots at Fortune. The companies mentioned have more than God but don't have the knowledge. The only company even close to nVidia's technology is AMD and they are like 3 years away from competing. AMD has virtually caught up with nVidia in high end gaming GPUs. Their...

Vietnamese billionaire sentenced to death for fraud

When will that scumbag Corzine ever go to jail. I guess when you're buddies with the Clinton & Goldman Mafia you get to walk away while destroying your customers. It's a wonder Drexel, Milken & Andersen ever got prosecuted.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president.

My mistake, you are correct. From your writings here you would fall under what the MAGA types call a RINO. Someone who believes in traditional GOP values.
