Secret pricing spikes US healthcare costs

It's my understanding that legislation in the U.S. makes it illegal for Medicare to negotiate drug prices! I believe the VA can, but not Medicare. Don't take my word for it, check it out yourself. WAKE UP America!

    Here's what I'm looking for:

That's what I thought. Will there ever be a day when the stock and options exchanges simply agree that 1 license applies to all prop trading. Aren't we passed the days of "selling muni's with 6 pts of commission", REALLY; I mean since when have municpal bond sinking funds applied to prop...

    Here's what I'm looking for:

Bright could be a good fit if I could sit for the 56. I didn't think that license would work for their SRO. Guess, I'll have to call Don.

    Here's what I'm looking for:

A CBOE firm with a farm team for profit/split or $mgmt hedge side with a strong balance sheet and compliance record. If I'm going to generate 6 figures in 2014, I may need to plunk down up to as much as $50k. I say CBOE firm cuz I'm not taking the 7 again. It doesn't have to be CBOE, any SRO...

    Premium Sellers vs. Option Buyers

Ok since there are some savy option guys on this thread, I thought I would post a greenie question as we wait for Mav's story. I know it's off the topic, but not to hedging or trading around a core with positive carry. Since I'm not an options trader, I wanted to know what the correct label...

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

So Michael, will you be obtaining your license on the equities side in order to recruit stock/options traders? Looks like a few here are taking the other side of that bet.

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

Mav, why on earth would the "backer" register as a broker/dealer when commissions are not applicable? Why not just set your company up as a "family office"? What mechanism?

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

Mav, thanks for replying. In the interest of healthy discussion, I could use some clarification on a couple of your points. You say that the regs and capital required make it a horrible business model. Are you saying that the "discretionary"stock prop model (not trading arcade) has it's best...

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

************* Thanks Michael. I am seeing a shift occurring in the stock trading side of the business perhaps because of Dodd Frank. For example, a couple of firms who used to require licensing and/or deposits have changed their business models in the direction of traditional prop. It...

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

Thanks, but are you referring to MP's response on 6/14 that they are 'working on it'?

TopstepTrader and Patak Trading Partners- Any and all questions answered here

Michael, please forgive me if this subject has been answered before. I did a search but to no avail. Are there regulatory issues stopping a firm like yours from entering the stock trading industry? You only have 25 (more or less) permissable products and that restriction leaves $ on the...

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

Where in my OP did I ask how they make money? I realize this is asking a lot from the ET community: If you don't have a direct response to the original inquiry, please don't reply. We're all better off if you DON'T...
  15. Q

    Patak/TopStep for Equities

In the last year or 2 there has been a lot of attention given to Patak's firm for funding traders based on simulated combines for futures. Who is doing this on the stock or equity side of the business? If no firm is emphasizing in house technology to scout talent, then who is the closest...

Please share your thoughts and experiences on daytrading from a high timeframe

Prof, Which software will enable me to view a chart of AAPL where each bar is 20 million shares traded? Chart should span multiple months. Esignal tells me that Volume bars are tick generated so the limit is 40 days. They don't understand how to do this with Daily data files, QB.
