Imagine, broken links on a NEW site? I don't see any.... old one did have some and we kind of decided at some point that "it was easier to make a new kid than to clean up this one", LOL. If we missed something, let us know please Vad

Absolutely - that was the idea, to bundle them together. Let me also comment on your concern about "trade from this course alone". BTW thank you for this comment as it allows me to address a question I recieve often. See, I tried to emphasize that scalping is NOT a trading system - it means...

    reality trader

Let me chime in before assumptions and rumors take over :) New website just reflects situation that exists for over a year. Reality Trader is being run by me and Nesi for quite a while. He is not a "new" partner by the way, old timers remember him from 1999. He is mentioned in TTR, page 77 -...

    Reminiscences of a Stock Operator...

Well, this assumes our trader in question has to be born as a good trader. This also suggests there are practicaly no good traders since plenty of known good ones report going broke, and not once in many cases, before they get it right. This also fully ignores upside part; I mean per this quote...

    Reminiscences of a Stock Operator...

Bravo. I always wondered about those posts like "yeah, Livermore just pushed his luck and won, and then couldn't keep it, he is failure". If anyone thinks it's that easy, why won't he simply do the same, making couple hundered millions AND QUIT? That'll show that poor soul Livermore... Good...

    Great Trading Metaphors

My favorites: Regarding risk control - There are old pilots. There are bold pilots. There are no old bold pilots. Regarding selling into euphoric spikes - You gotta sell peanuts when the circus is in town. When the circus leaves who are you going to sell your peanuts to.

Bad streaks and how to deal with them

Very true... there is one more possible solution though, aside from total staying out. Lower your time frame. If there is no trend on 30 min or 15 min, looking at 1 min can reveal tradeable trends. I realize that switching time frames could be involved as it interferes with personal temperament...

Bad streaks and how to deal with them

My recipe, worked for me many times after single big loss or losing streak: 1. Stop Trading For a While Losing streak is most likely to impact your mental state too deep. You just are not ready to go in the battle again. Give yourself a break from tension. Wait for disgust by trading to...

    Some books I am considering.

I've got 6 messages asking for numbers to that %... attached is screenshot of MBT Navigator's Account Balances P&L taken minutes ago... and this is as far as I am prepared to go. Sorry if it's still not enough. Vad

    Some books I am considering.

Prop account? It's MBTrading, not prop firm financing their traders. Anyway, I trade my own money with usual daytrading margin, end of story. During the period described in the book I took 10K (leftover after losses) to over 200K, never having more than 30K in action. That was not by my...

    Some books I am considering.

Noticed that letter says "DAY TRADING"? Can't really do that with anything under $25K trading stocks. I don't recruit for a fund. I don't manage anyone's money. I don't HAVE to show anything. After the book was published I was asked on many occassions whether I trade profitably with the style...

    Some books I am considering.

There is nothing to read into this, really. On some rare occassions I take position for morning gap - maybe couple time a month, maybe less. It rather a fluke than a style of trading. Letter mentions the trading approach that was applied, and since there were rare deviations from it, objectivity...

    Some books I am considering.

Blanket statement about all authors not making money trading is just that... blanket statement. Granted, there are plenty of empty books written by... ummm... not successful traders, but I wouldn't question trading records of Alan Farley or Tony Oz. There are also authors that were pretty much...

hehe... then you know more than I do... I was simply told that their marketing department considers that one to be better, and they want to keep emphasis on tape reading as a method largely and undeservingly forgotten since 1930s...

    Some books I am considering.

My title was A Trader's Jorney into Reality: Revitalization of a Lost Art of Tape Reading (part after the colon as a subtitle). I believe that was exact reflection of book content, and it wouldn't make targeted audience that narrow as title mentioning only specific way of reading the...

    Some books I am considering.

Thank you. If correct trading philosophy (general apporach to the market and trading) is in place, and mental issues are resolved, trading system doesn't really matter... take any of existing or design your own, it will work for you as long as it is your edge. What I was aiming in the book...
