If you can trade RTY well, my hat's off to you. I think there are pockets where it is the cleanest and best index of the bunch, but it also seems to be captured by a lot of spread trading and there are many idiosyncrasies to it.

For whatever reason there seems to be this tendency for post-FOMC hangover in the Powell era. It started back when he was a semi-hawk, but seems to persist even now that he has become the biggest dove ever.

Virtusa is a known d-bag, put him on ignore.

Kinda funny now...Payrolls Friday, good number or bad number, has basically been a Rickshaw "risk free" long day for years. Difference was the market kinda played along until the number was released.

The potentially bearish overhang is just how close NDX/QQQ is to the all-time high and how spastic it can get coming off of important resistance.

    Bears back finally? Dow futs-200

Good analysis. As you mentioned, the fallout of massive numbers of smaller businesses closing down consolidates market share into the behemoths. Small and midcaps have been sucking wind for a long time; I doubt that anyone can really estimate with any real precision what's under the hood of...

They shrugged off the first weeks of Covid-19 as well, until it dropped 35-45% (depending on the index) in under a month. Markets these days seem to squeeze between a 0 sentiment to a near 100 sentiment. In between is roadkill.

Man, good timing. A second later another binary spike lower. At least third or fourth time this week I've seen one. Liquidity seems to be really thinning out at these levels.

Yeah, he did go after Schizo, I agree. Schizo is a pretty no nonsense guy just doing his thing, but he gets the attention that Multi-Nick desperately craves. It was the same thing wrt NQurious. FWIW, I've seen him around various forums for at least 15 years, various aliases. His writing...

Aside from the fact that he has the same habits of posting many after the fact trades (exactly what prompted many to block him in the first place), he writes in the same style (albeit uses spell check as Giovanni). Really pretty easy to spot...and nobody else I've seen continues to reference...

Nice job Hafez, but you forgot to log out as Giovanni before agreeing with him (you).

Seems like whenever an overhead target is within spitting distance, the short, but violent "rug pulls" begin anew.

The RTY/NQ obviously flipped on its head right after the open. ES seems hostage to those cross currents.

Russell up 53% off the lows of just 2 short months ago. About 40 points away from the 200d MA. Same conundrum, Nasdaq 10% above, S&P slightly above and RUT closing in on it.

Heck, where's anybody? Remember 2 months ago when it was 24hrs of trading commentary. Per usual, highly correlated to VIX.
