Equis & Reuters Liable for this?

You're not serious! One of the 1st things a user acknowledges in using most software is not to sue the firm that produced it. Are you the one who sued McD for that extra hot cup of coffee?

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

Sorry to dissapoint but each country has/can have it's own patent office. They're based on international commerce treaties. Every major country/export powerhouse has their version and they all "cooperate".

    Bright Trading's new payout model

Why can't Bright tell Goldman to go screw themselves, anyway? Either clear themselves or use somebody else? Are you saying that Bright's business model is entirely dependent on Goldman's wishes?

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

Good! It's already the biggest anyway. It has nowhere to go but DOWN. Companies like Apple & Walmart are nothing but Chinese export shops. Tax the shit out of Apple products through a VAT tax and you'll see America coming back!

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

China got lucky. It beat out the others at the export game early on because of Hong Kong. Hong Kong was China's front/back door to Western markets. Sri Lanka? too small. India? Many Indians know English as 2nd language. Easier for service economy.

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

Several factors came into play in the last 10-20 years in the US which together contributed to the current malaise... -Arrogant politicians, public -A "we're #1" attitude -Crooked politicians and corporate elite -way too much "prestige" paid to smart asses out of big universities. -Too...

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

Again, you say Korea/Japan/Hong Kong were very "productive". Yes, they are very hard workers but their model only benefitted until & as long as the idiots/lazy asses in US/Europe are willing to buy & increasingly buy/finance. When the dumb masses in the US realize they've been screwing...

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

These fools who write this shit are a bunch of monkeys. All they do is extrapolate past data into the future, nothing more. As soon as Chinese stuff gets a bit more pricey (in a few years) their "growth" is done. They will no longer be competitive. Manufacturers will move to some other area...

Goldman Sachs earned 4 pennies on India deal

So what? You think companies have to make millions on every transaction? Sometimes you have to break even/lose in order to win in the long run.

How the rich dodge taxes. And how the SEC shifts attention away from new FOIA scandal

You're confusing assets with market-cap... This looks like a stock that blew up. Probably had exposure to real estate. http://www.scottishre.com/pdf/KBW_Conference_Sept2005.pdf

How would they pull off a "re-balance"?

How do I actually invest in an emerging market?

When/if Afghanistan becomes available for foreigners to trade securities in, it'll be listed somewhere as a "Frontier" market as opposed to "emerging" market.

Enslaving Americans for fun and profit

All that's left now is for Hillary Clinton to "negotiate" with other countries and not allow US citizens to stay past 3 mos. and Americans can't get out no matter what & will forever have to repay their government guaranteed debt. Well, I guess the government could make good on everybody's...

    Anyone from eSignal there?

Same issue here. Can't log in. Some dummy in the forums claims the acct was disabled. WTF??? Must be some log on authorization server down or something as my acct is paid up & I got no warning. Just no data/no password out of the blue on a Sunday morning. Better be up in a few...

    Wal-mart

Yes, they're ugly, cheap stores. So are their shoppers. I'd rather go to say a Target in California or Carrefour in Europe! Walmart is the new Kmart of the '70s/'80s. Anybody who buys meat, fruit, vegetables, or other perishables at Walmart is a fool. And their clientele? Oh, what a...
