Any significant difference between TOS or OX software?

Thanks to everyone who pointed out how to get optionable stocks in TOS. It really doesn't matter to me because I can't screen for the stocks that I want. But I'm not going to reject TOS because of that.

Need stock screener to find stocks in a narrow trading range for last 6 months

I took a look at Ninja Trader and concluded that it is not suitable for screening thousands of stocks. The Market Analyzer starts off by by loading all the stocks and then you narrow them down from there. It just isn't designed for analyzing a huge number of instruments. It also does not...

Any significant difference between TOS or OX software?

That is a good point. I just checked and the TOS screener also does not have a filter for optionable-only stocks.

Any significant difference between TOS or OX software?

That depends on what you are screening for. MSN Money has a good free screener. I'm referring to the advanced one that requires a download and only works in IE. http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/finder/customstocks.asp

Any significant difference between TOS or OX software?

Yes, there are lots are free good screeners. But it would be great to have it in TOS so you can then quickly and easily look at the options for the stocks in a screen. If you can import a watch list into TOS then I guess that would be pretty good. But I run several different screens, so...

Any significant difference between TOS or OX software?

Considering how good their options stuff seems to be, I was surprised by how mediocre their stock screener is.

Need stock screener to find stocks in a narrow trading range for last 6 months

One definition might be "highest high of the last 30 days / lowest low of the last 30 days <= 1.1". But I know that most screeners don't have that capability. I know that I can get $400+ programs that can easily do this. But I am looking to see if there is something less expensive that...

Thanks. I set it to a font that is good for me but now I can't see parts of some windows like the setup window - which doesn't have scroll bars.

Thanks. I'm using a 37" LCD TV as my monitor but I find it really hard to see the lettering on their software.

    Stock Scanner ? ? ? ?

I started looking at Blocks last week. It looks pretty good. If you need any fundamental data or relative strength then you need to pay for a $20 monthly subscription.
